If it was not for permits you would have anything anywhere. We all have had to deal with Permits and sometimes they are rediculous (IE Wetlands in a Hilly part of the country, Some bird or squirrel will be displaced and needs a new home) But they will get it all taken care of. We will ALL appreciate it a lot more when it is finally a Race Track, Time is short for me, But I still want to see it built and my son to be a Winner Again at MAR and set some track records like the Old MAR. Thanks RONNIE and the Rest, You will get there it just takes time.

Thanks for the update. Can't wait for it to open! If this ever happens you will be very old and using a walker complete with tennis balls. What a smoke screen. These clowns should run for some political office and join up with our walking eagle president ( walking eagle - to full of sht to fly ) I think my rant is correct and straight to the point, so don't hold your breath.

Lurker and mnwsr, I'm curious as to why you are so negative about this whole project. Unless they are trying to bilk money out of investors, to what gain would the promoters have to create a 'smoke screen'? I haven't seen any instance of them asking anyone for money. So therefore, it is a private enterprise and seriously none of your business. I actually feel sorry for people like you that have nothing better to do than sit around wishing ill will on others. I myself want it to happen but will continue to live my life whether it happens or not. It is costing me nothing, and I suspect you also have no vested interest in it. You are just coming across as a person who sits around with a scowl on their face, unless you are pulling the wings off of flies.

wankerkenny whats the home page say coming WHEN. I can get you a deal on some bridges or swamp land if you like. Start from the beginning and read and still nothing except alot of hot air. No wishing il on others just like to see something more then blowing smoke up others rear ends. Many have been kicked of this site for calling them out and I must say some of them have been right on the button.

I think mnwsr is one of the land owners and he hopes that by trying to stir up a bunch of shit on here it will cause some type of upevil and get everyone to turn against the project. When this project was originally announced I signed a piece of paper that said that ONCE the track was up and running that I would pay $1000.00 to pay for a billboard or sign as a sponsorship. Well it's been almost 2 years and I haven't been asked for a single penny other than what I have paid to attend car shows and what have you.
There is no smoke screen at all, the guys are working their asses off trying to get the project off the ground, As people always say "ROME WASN'T BUILT IN A DAY", chill out if it happens it happens, if it doesn't then it's no sweat off your balls!!!!

Nope not a land owner just a reader of this site and it would be great if it happened, but don't see it coming together.

I see you don't know the 1st thing about billboard prices. $1000.00 just barely covers the art work on a sign that would last anytime at all. 2nd you have to remember this billboard is not seen 24 -7 only when people are at the track. billboards on highway are 24-7 and sold quarterly and the best part if they have no takers for the next quarter yours stays up. Thats how a billboard works.

Thats how a billboard works. I am doing what I think is a small part to help support the track. I realize that "BILLBOARDS" are more expensive and are posted along the highway that's why I also said sign. The Grand isn't the point, the point is that I volunteered to do something to help promote the track and not sit on my ass typing hateful shit on a forum. The "SIGN" will maybe help support the little bit of business that I do in my shop that is based on performance transmissions and Chassis set up. It's not a big deal to me other than when I am at the track I will get to see my Logo somewhere along the track and I will know that in some way I had a little bit to do in helping do the project.
