I dont normally post, but here is what they are waiting for- Quote from Montgomery writer:: The Corp of Engineers is involved due to a blue line (waterway) on the property, and in order to do any kind of construction when that is the case, a permit has to be issued and they have to put an equivalent acreage of wetlands back in somewhere. They are working with Matt Roth of On Site soils to design the wetlands. Read more: marpark.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=news&action=display&thread=467&page=8#ixzz26DO7pjjPAfter talking to Ronnie he said that is ALL they are waiting for is that permit from the Corps and they are ready to jump on this project., As we all know our beloved federal government doesnt always do things in a timely manner.

Boys, Boys, boys. 99.9% of us does not have penny or any of our time in this track. It is a new business starting out. The founders does not have to tell us anything about anything, but they have been open about it. For though of you that want "Progress" go find some land and start one....the supporters that is on his site will support you also, and the ones that think they should be in the know will post the negativity like they do on here. This kind of project takes time, Gov reg, permits, contractors all have to work together to make it happen....Heck if someone wants to put a billboard or a sign up and the "Investors" let them do it, it's not anyone's else's business. I will be glad when it opens. if you look though the forum you will find where the investors are and what is holding it up. ;)S I live just 30mins away! Until it does, we have to race where we can, and the negative commits will not stop me from having faith in the founders or stop me from racing where I can now....grow up!!!!!

If you want questions answered about the progress of the track, ronnie will be on site this saturday between 12-3 giving away t-shirts and free entries to the reunion on the 22nd. Quit listening to all the nay-sayers and rumors going around. If you have a question or concern, he will be glad to answer them directly. There will be free BBQ lunch with alot of prizes to be given away from local businesses. We support Ronnie and the whole gang at MAR and we feel lucky enough to have them support us in our move to moscow mills. Thanks, Bill

Hi everyone, sorry for the long absence. I'm pretty busy helping my farmer husband and homeschooling our 3 and 4 year olds, (not to mention my laptop crashing, ugh!) but when Ronnie calls me, I am here Ronnie called with an update and I stopped by the site a few hours ago. They FINALLY got the permit from the Corp of Engineers. Yes, it took forever, but it is done! The upshot is that they have to buy into the Lower Missouri River Mitigation Bank near Chesterfield due to the wetlands/blue lines on the drag strip site. When I was there this morning, Ronnie, Steve, Roger, and Jim were putting in the silt fence. Steve was driving the trencher and they all helped to get the fence up. Some pictures are located at the following link. plus.google.com/photos/114580475893707380414/albums/5795515558016246417My previous pictures are at plus.google.com/photos/114580475893707380414/albumsFor more information about wetland mitigation etc. go to www.modot.org/ehp/WetlandMitigation.htmand www.mvs.usace.army.mil/permits/mitigation.htmlRonnie will keep me updated and I will be going up there taking pictures and video as I am able and will post here. On a different note, I had some mail in my inbox here on the forum and if there's a way to get notifications of those I don't know how to do it, and I don't come on here very much. If someone wants to contact me directly, my email address is carolyngerding@gmail.com. Have a great week and ENJOY THIS WEATHER! Carolyn

Hello everyone, I hope everybody is doing well. We have been very busy working on things for Mid America Raceway park. We have met with more contacts that are going to schedule there events at M.A.R.park in the future. Also we have pick up some major sponsor for the track and the races that we will be holding. We still have some things that we have to get done. And yes our attorneys want the rest of the money that M.A.R.park owns and we still have some other outstanding bill's that need to be paid. We need to sell about 5,000 t-shirt's. We are taking order's. But as all ways WE THANK YOU!!! for all the support that you have given in the past and will give in the future. Mid America Raceway park will be your no.1 choice for Drag Racing in the area bar none. Thank you again and we will see you-all at the races. Please everyone be safe in your travels this CHRISTMAS and have a joyous and happy new year!! Good afternoon everyone. Just wanted to give a little update on the track. As I have stated before, yes we have to finish paying our attorney's the balance owed but as far the other statement's made by others are false. We have meeting's this week again on the tracks development process. We had a good track owners meeting yesterday at K.C. with the other NHRA track members. We came home early with the possible bad weather coming in today. Thank You for all your concerns. Mid America Raceway park is very much needed for the future of the sport of drag racing. Some people don't realized the void that will be in other people's lives with out this sport, the life long friendships that happen at the track that is just a small part of things that come out of the sport. I will post any new updates when they are available. Ronnie Track Manager

So getting straight to the point, If you don't have money for the attorney fees, you obviously can't have money to bring in people to build a track. Simple math here.
