Hahahahaha.. now that's funny shit... how many fat ass wives have had a wreck eating the fries and 3000 cal hamburger... hahahaha... I don't need too find anyone to punch... I have been very busy this year so I haven't had time to post but rest assured I will be at the ground breaking. Then I will get this board cleaned up _ and see if I have some problem members that need to go. Hope to see you all there after all this is an all day event so find some time to stop in and check it out. Peace out my fellow drag racers.  Shawn nice to see you back after a long absence and although the board could use some cleaning up (deleting antiquated threads messages and topics) and although I personally disagree with some of the posters I find it pretty highhanded of you to decide who should be deleted from this forum as I have said in previous posts this board has done really well for itself considering there has been zero moderation (except for what Falfa recently tried to do)for approaching an 11 month period of time.Most people using this board are of decent intent, There are a few dicks on here that got ruined when God put ears on them but that is mostly lately and those people are same ones who said the track would never get built but were going to the ground breaking today after the poker run.Now that's funny |

what happened to the saying " if you havent got something nice to say, then dont say it at all"? with that being said..i enjoyed myself at the groundbreaking today. got a picture of myself and my little boy beside the porta tree. classic picture in the making.

I'm not sure why they call it a poker run, it's more like a pub crawl. Since I'm not interested in drinking and driving I'm not really interested in doing it.  I don't need to be drunk to enjoy driving my car. LOL Wow Rich . So you stereo type poker runs or just this one ? Everyone has to make their own decisions some right, some wrong . I often wondered when a police officer or Fireman gets hurt and they have a benefit at a watering hole ,do you think anyone drinks and gets behind the wheel ? Does a charity benefit at some big gala not offer cocktails ? I hope I can get that :oKEG of beer  in the trunk of the mopar today. Hope to still make the ceremony this evening . Enjoy your Sunday I have no problem with people drinking, it's their choice to drive when their drunk. I have an occasional drink (two max), but don't drive till I know I'm sober. I have also seen the carnage of going on a wine country tour while in the Gateway Viper Club and seen what happens to expensive cars when you're driving drunk (even when the driver did didn't think he was that drunk he still totaled his Blue & White GTS Coupe). They claimed that his wife (who was sober) was driving so he would get a DWI. The diver of the the truck that they hit didn't see who was driving the Viper. Members of the club jokingly says that they're "A drinking Club with a car problem". There are actually poker runs that don't make the stops at bars, just checkpoints. LOLShould I have voice my opinion publicly, apparently not. LOL But after all it's just an opinion, everybody has one. No one usually take mine to seriously anyway. LOL Back to the original subject of the ground breaking ceremony, Kayse and I got there about 10:30 (took forever to get Kayse out the door at home). We chatted with some Mopar people we knew (Clay, Rosie, Kenny Hilton, Darrel, etc). We watched them auction off the custom shovels. I took a bunch of pics of people and cars. We had a good time checking out the grounds. Got a ground breaking t-shirt then headed back towards home since my free labor ( a buddy) with his bobcat is doing the excavation for my new garage to help work on that. Can't wait till next March when the new MAR Park is open!!! ;D |

When they auctioned off the shovels Ronnie said you'd have to look at them to figure it out. Ronnie said he'll let me know when they start pushing dirt (not sure when that is supposed to be but survey to be done Wednesday) and when they start pouring concrete. It's only about 10 minutes from my home so I'll be by there often! |

I am so glad that Ronnie and his team has stay on there plan to provide a place for us to race. I go by there coming and going to work. This winter will not be a blue one. When I come home from work it is dark, but when they get just one light on that I can see, then the ride home will be just as exciting as going to work and seeing what they have did everyday. Thanks Ronnie and team. You have made lots of people happy....
