i'm with rich on this one, poker runs at best are a diluted way of just plain 'bar hopping', dr you are correct everyone has to make the decision to drink and drive , but when you're decision making process is made after couple 'beers'' , that decision has been made wrong way to many times , and the loss of life has been a great impact on allot of families. so to justify a 'poker run' because it benifits some need , is wrong too, those ends never justify the outcome good or bad, drinking driving and then promoting thru a poker run is totally WRONG! as for groundbreaking, i hope to make it there , or i will go to Cole County, ?? Wear a t-shirt that says I'm dennismopar73 so everyone knows who to punch in the head. IDIOT!! WOW! That's harsh |

Regarding beer. The old MAR allowed beer on property, so if the new MARP wants to be like old MAR, of course you can have beer.

I have been very busy this year so I haven't had time to post but rest assured I will be at the ground breaking. Then I will get this board cleaned up _ and see if I have some problem members that need to go. Shawn nice to see you back after a long absence and although the board could use some cleaning up (deleting antiquated threads messages and topics) and although I personally disagree with some of the posters I find it pretty highhanded of you to decide who should be deleted from this forum as I have said in previous posts this board has done really well for itself considering there has been zero moderation (except for what Falfa recently tried to do)for approaching an 11 month period of time.Most people using this board are of decent intent, There are a few dicks on here that got ruined when God put ears on them but that is mostly lately and those people are same ones who said the track would never get built but were going to the ground breaking today after the poker run. |

Oh will MARP have a liquor license to sell BEER ? Or allow liquor be on the property this needs to be addressed now . Ronnie told me today he will not be serving alcohol. He didn't say whether he's got a policy on people bringing it in. But I didn't ask either. |
