That is a very tight converter for a low ten second car. I would almost guarantee that your problem does not lie in your rear suspension.

im not sure what in the old trans or what made it happen, after it did happen i asked a few tranny companys and didnt get the same from one another did take a pic of it,if i can fiquire out how to put it on here i will, yyea my best 60 is 147,i know it should be in the 130s given the times i run,my mph is 135,like jeremy said i could have to tight of a convertor, but it was oder per my set up,cam, car weight, motor, gearing, tire size, but they could of had did it wrong, its the same, foot brake or trans brake, have a 3800 chip in it on the trans brake

It is very rare for a converter company to nail it on the first try. 135 mph is enough power to run in the 9's. I would bet money it is the converter.

Hemis like to spin, bet you need a 4600 or so converter, and launch set at 4200 to get into the powerband.

my motor is a 440,60 over, indy heads,1050 demon, race gas,820 lift roller cam,im sure it would go into the 9s,wanting to go to alky next year, not sure how much that would wake the motor,up or if its worth the trouble, might have to pull the convertor after the car show and send it to them

If the car is running that kind of mile per hour you should be running 9.60 and the 60 ft should be in the realm of 128. Check around but sounds like to me the converter should be around 5000 stall. When you are leaving off the line it is pulling the motor to far down from its power band when it recovers that is why you have the big MPH. Need to buzz the motor a little harder off the line.
