My name is Monte and i am from Mexico, Mo. I grew up at MAR helping my dad race his low budget '69 Nova. I had a lot of fun there and learned a lot. I always figured I would be racing there but the summer I was 16 was the first summer they didn't open. Fast forward to Oct. of this year I was starting a 355 build for my 85 Monte Carlo SS to be a street cruiser, when I heard about the track. I switched gears and decided to build a '69 nova I have had for years with a BBC. THings are on track and I am hoping to have it ready to go by the time the track opens.

My name is Dave Stradtmann out of overland mo(st.louis).I race a 82 trans am w/350,350 tranny,373 gears,nos cheater,foot brake.Best E.T 11.87@115mph can't what till mar park opens.Loved the old mar was very sad when they it shutdown I hope everything goes as plan for the new track.
