;DHey my name is Bret. First track I ever drove on was MAR in 1976. Had a 65 Mustang Fastback which at the time I thought was bad to da bone..............now I know better. Used to ride a sled down the back hill there at MAR in the winter after a big snow in the early seventies. I miss that place Live in Troy now. Racer wannabe. Work for Chrysler during the day and run a non profit called Righteous Rides right off 61 in the evenings and week-ends. Gear head to the core, love building relationships with car guys and sharing what Jesus has done for me ;D

Hello from Lipscomb Racing. I am from Mexico, MO. Used to race a maroon 70 GS455 name "Danger Zone", before that had a blue 65 Ford truck with a Buick 455 named "Rat Poison" Now I have a 77BBC Camaro. I raced at MAR with my two boys, one has Blue 2gen Camaro and the youngest ran a 86 Red Firebird SBC with a 5-Speed. We all are hoping, as are many racers in Mexico are, that this track goes though. I have been going and racing since 1969. Been to most of the big MAR events. Hope everything works out good and the track opens. Thanks for the effort and can't wait to see it open. Kevin Lipscomb

Nothing fancy best time so far is 11.74, its just a street car.
I would love to see a new quarter mile open nearby, whether gateway is open or not. I like variety. Hope to see everyone next year

Hello Ryan here (Ron's son) from Chuck-A-Burger Drive-In. Lets see, anyone who knows us knows we've been around forever. We used to have a sign on the bridge and later the fence at the old MAR for years, and we used to sponsor the "Chuck-A-Burger '57" raced by Randy Jones and Wayne Steinbeck who were regulars at MAR. My first trip down the quarter mile was at MAR when I was 16, and my dad and I cant wait till the new track opens so we can get OUR '57's out!
