I'm Jim and I live near kirksville, MO. I raced the "Reeves Racing", plum crazy '68 Barracuda at MAR for several years. Got my first win there at the '95 Mopar Fest. I made a perfect run there, the only one of my racing career so far. Sold that car in 2004 to buy my current home and property. That car went on to win "Pinks All Out" at Bristol in 2007. Thought we were done racing until I bought a '74 Dart Sport last May. This car has undergone a complete chassis transformation and should run mid to high 8's when finished. 440, glide, single toilet, and probably less than 2100 lbs.

Everybody thinks their stuff is gonna be in the 8's. You will find that as you go faster and faster each one of those magical barriers gets harder and harder to break through. I built cars that my engine guy told me to look for 9.70's and got to the track and ran 11.0's all day long took a butt load of money and even more patience to get my current cars down into the 8's. I wish you all the luck my friend, just don't be to disappointed when it doesn't run what you think it should.

Well, I'll tell ya... this car car 9.60's when I bought it. The previous owner ran it off the foot brake, leaving at 2200 RPM. It had the original dash, floor, firewall, steel wheel tubs, and trunk floor. Basically a stock interior. The floor pans were welded to the main frame rails. I've removed all of that from the car, which equates to over 600 pounds from this thing as well as replacing every bar in it with chrome-moly and freeing up all the rolling components. It will be transbrake-launched around 4400 RPM. If it doesn't run in the 8's initially, it will after a couple weeks of sorting out the new car stuff. Same drivetrain, totally new car wrapped around it.

My name is Jamie, I live in Moscow Mills. I have a 69 Chevelle that I restored in '07. I just got into this in '08, just run it for the fun of it, best et:10.76@126. I am really excited about the possibility of having a track 15 minutes from my house, I have been to every MM at Gateway for the past 2 years, good luck!!!

I live in New London Mo. I used to have a '73 Chevy shortbed and a '71 Camaro that ran pretty good, but 2 kids later all I have is a '04 Dodge Ram with a hemi. I am looking to buy some kind of "toy" this spring. My good buddy (falfa) has a couple of awesome cars that are very fast and one he is building now. I try to go over there so I can get the "bug" every now and then. You can bet I will be down to the track when it opens quite often. thanks
