I think he thinks GIR is more important then MAR PARK just saying.GIR will not be opening anytime soon! MAR PARK will open and we will be racing there first before GIR opens!!

It would be nice to have two 1/4 mile tracks open again but i would go to MAR PARK more then GIR!

Very hopeful that new MAR is built. BUT time for reality. GIR track there MAR a field. GIR tower there MAR a field. GIR pit area there MAR a field. Just saying. Whoever or whatever gets a track open racers need to patronize and not just be banging on the keyboard about what if and remember when. Not having a local track sucks.

Come on Dennis you've led the pack with who what when why yes no for both tracks .

Most on here haven't raced this year or for a couple of years .So the keyboard is the most BS .

These other small tracks are skating on thin ice also .

If getting GIR back on top is more important than MAR Park why doesn't he go to THEIR website and cheer them on OH! I forgot they don't have ONE. Been working slowly but surely on my new car so I have something to race at MAR Park.But if not I'm sure gonna race somewhere but I hope in my heart of hearts it ain't the swamp.It would sure be a pisser to only do burnout contests at city celebrations for the forseeable future as I don't see the swamp reopening any time soon. I believe MAR Park will be open before GIR.

I guess we can bs on MAR website but its tough to race when theres no track. Website probably not quite as costly as racing facility.

nothing new to add, its all been said, wait n see what gives,
i'm going to cole co, today, spectate, cant drive,
get my back treatment monday,
wife has her heart stints done on tues, so its been just bad year,
but , over the next couple months things will get better,

The plumbing is in worse shape than the electrical at Gateway. There have been people looking at what's needed to bring the track back online. There is still the question if it will be operational this year or not till spring.
