Or unless when Dover pulled out they didn't turn the water off and clean out all the lines and they froze over the winter and burst. From a few of the pics I've seen of inside the place the animals have been having a field day inside the tower. Living in the walls and someone tore out some drywall and insulation.

dont know how the animals got in unless the doors was left open or they chewed holes in the wall,least they picked a good place to camp out in

The pictures I saw might have been from elevated race control on the oval. There has always been a problem with birds and other things getting in there. I'm pretty sure all the water was shut down and the lines were blown out before they closed.

from the sounds of things,looks like we will have a track in st.louis so things are looking up,for the local racers and fans

well sg3526.. , hard to say, ive been to busy with dr results and stuff, to check in with these new rumors, i know racer one posted that g w r w was suppose to get a div / and a national event next year, and such, and that rumored to be people in looking over repaires a wiring the starting line or something like it,
i heard guys at havana say, nothing going on, at ll except grass growing in the track now , so idono even the owner of rickys race place, stated the same to me ,
we will see over winter,
altho i racer did say yes, it will be open before labor day too,, good for a laugh,
but he said his source is 'right on it'
so we see, ,
i have enought on my table for this year,

Madison is on the land owners to get in there and clean the place up, cut the grass and make it look like something again or they will do it and charge them for it. I wonder how many times you have to mow a lawn of that size to equal the property value of the place. Also heard that the property owners had asked Chris Pook and Rod Wolters to come in and "MANAGE" the place to reopen it and they respectfully declined.

I wonder if the city has a limit to what they can charge to do the appearance maintenance?By the time 2 guys cut it 4 guys weedwack it 4 people hold stop and go signs 4 supervisors oversee and the director of public works is there to answer the hard questions they could get to the property value pretty quick, put a lien on it and own it by the end of summer!
