I haven't heard about any wiring or plumbing that was "removed". I heard they were bringing in an outside company to spray weeds and knock down some of the grass. We had actually discussed having somebody come in and bale the infield. They didn't think there was enough room for them to do it.

Am I losing it?(rhetorical ?) or is that link supposed to have relevance towards GIR if so what is it ?If not post it on topic.The edragster is a neat concept.

I do know they had somebody come in and do some mowing. I was told today i should know more next Wed. There is/was a serious buyer. I don't know if it's a done deal. It's not Johnny Grey or Schumacher. There has been talk of bringing some of us back. I haven't heard anything for sure or any specific date. I don't want to start or spread rumors or say anything that might jeopardize a chance at future employment. As soon as I know some facts and get the ok to post, I will. |

Helen Richter started this thread Shawns mom who set up this site . Condense 36 pages of MARP progress thread and see what is really their . I don't see much progress on either track ,MARPs group just seems to post the ups and downs openly.GIR if their is activity isn't public info other than rumors speculation . I think many racers ,fans ,suppliers would welcome any track that can get to open . Its just frustrating not to have a local track to support . I heard this week a Belliville Il company bought GIR won't close till Sept and or GIR goes on the auction block soon . |

i seen on bret kepners that the adrl is going to make a big annoucement,i wonder if its about gateway nope nothing to do with gateway, just they are trying to start another series for top sportsman/? and that tim mcamis will sponsor quickest qualifier bonus , and to tell everyone that al-anabi is here not going away, but if you listen to the broadcast, the a d r l is going thru changes for sure, but so is n h r a ! sponsorship dollars are drying up, as for gir? i beleive this newest deal , is getting done, personal, i think the outcome will be a later rather than sooner, |

my sources say it is basically 1 guy, but he may have couple involved as well ,,
like i said, any announcement may be just a little ways out, but until it is in the news no one will believe anyone on this, but this is the best news and source i have i am spectacle about it as well I'm just not as bad as some , i always want to believe the best outcome
other are believe when they see, , , or the tank is half empty, rather than half full,
some are just daXXx it out,!! hahaha !

no mar this year till march,2012,maybee,gateway would be the only local track if open this year,even if it would be late in the year would be good
