OK, I have a solution. I am looking at BUILDING a 330Ft Track with a shutdown area. Hell if we can run 1/8 mile why can't we run 1/16 mile. It would separate the Good Light Guy's from the Bad, and if you can't get your car to Hook Up your done too. It may sound Stupid but it would be a Reaction Time and still Dial a Time and the Speeds would be low and Safe. A lot of races are won in the first 1/8 on a 1/4 and a lot are won at 330 on an 1/8 mile,it is the Sand Baggers that like to run a long ways and Back into you. Still a Race of Skills, Reaction Time, get to the Finish First and Not Break out. The Distance is irrelevant, it is all the same race, Just a shorter Distance. I even thought a long time ago that it would be cool to have a 60Ft Race. Again Reaction Time and ET. Less Broken Parts and low speeds. Look at Mud Racing , they run in Sand or Mud that is short and some can pay Big Bucks to Win. Takes a lot of Skill to do it in a Shorter Period. It beats setting in line a Gateway or No Track at all. Laugh if you want But you know how people pay to Drive Go-Carts for only a few minutes and do it time after time and the guy is raking in the cash and he pay's out NOTHING.

60 Feet might work with a 20 person grandstand but they would still need a investor to pay the 43,000 in legal fee's they can't pay.

wow, first, talk of progress??? something actually has to move forward for there to be progress. lol. there is none. second a track meeting without a track. lol !!!!!!!! how can you have a track meeting when there isnt one. buying equipment without any start in sight. REALLY?  . BACKWARD IS THE ONLY PROGRESS THATS BEEN MADE SINCE GROUND BREAKING CEROMONY. some must be delusional cause the speak as if there was a track. YOU CANT OPEN A MILLION DOLLARS BUSINESS WITHOUT ANY MONEY AND BEING IN DEBT. WAS JUST CHECKING IN ON THE SITE. SAMETHING TALK OF MOVING FORWARD WHEN NOTHING HAS HAPPENED IN YEARS. IM JUST WONDERING IF SOME WILL BE DYING IN 20 OR 30 YEARS AND STILL TALKING ABOUT PROGRESS ON THIS SITE. WELL IM AT WORK BORED SO I THOUGFHT I WOULD CHECK IN SEE YOU ALL IN 6 MONTHS |

It's true you can't build a house without the tools but you also can't manage or own a track that doesn't actually exist!

Hay every body the staff is working every day to get track deal done. We have been to K. C. for the track owners meeting and tech trailing . We will have four tech official's at the track at all times to keep the lines down. The location of track will be announced as soon as it is finalized . So stay tuned. Hey CROSSBONESDENNIS what will that Roadster do in 330 ft. It should be pretty fast, 60ft somewhere in the 1.15-1.20 or faster??? Just curious. I was Dead Serious about trying to find a place that we could do these short races. I think it would be fun with the Fast Cars to see some really Tough Ones Heads Up.

Doubt anyone builds a track in that area again there are far more old tracks closing then new tracks opening, as far as a track getting major races that close to Gateway it just won't happen. I don't race myself but have been a fan since I was 10 years old going to races at the old yellow river drag strip outside of Atlanta with my older brother back in 1959,60 and Pacific, Alton,Saturday Night under the lights at beautiful Alton dragway, and Mar where the big ones are when I moved back from Georgia to live with my dad. Wish you racers good luck maybe someone will come along with some bucks and try a project that isn't so far fetched like starting out as a small scale 1/8th mile operation instead of trying to compete with the big boys like Gateway right off the bat that just got another 20 million in investments this year. Guess you guys will just have to keep on towing for a while longer.

Maybe we should all invest in nascar trucks! Thats the area of the track thats being invested in,not the drag strip.
