Josh wont let that happen altho it will be very tight schedule to keep so everyone needs to get their cars up in order before getting there! leaking oil fix it, If you know it's hurt don't run it , cant fix the unexpected, but we can sure make it easier if it is fixed when we know there is issue!

Josh is bringing in his own tech crew also from Indy for MMW. One of our local racers is running the drag racing program

The same person that was working with Sieviking the last few years is managing the drag racing portion of the event. Most people from the Moparts board will recognize him. Yes the ADRL brought their team with them at the last minute, but the Gateway people worked hand in hand with them and got further education on what it takes. These men and women are doing a good job and getting better all the time. This weekend should tell volumes.

Went to the Test and Tune last night and was pleasantly surprised with the efficiency at Gateway. They must have taken some tips from the ADRL guys last week and put them to practice. Track seemed to be hooking pretty good too.

Anybody that went to Monster Mopar Weekend, knows now that Gateway is well on the way of getting their act together and running very smoothly. the proof is in how the high horsepower cars ran. Jacobsmeyer ran great numbers for the cars first 1/4 mile passes, and for just the 3rd and 4th time down a track with that car, Dave Waters Willys made (4) 7.40 passes that were on a string, Rick Wilson's altered ran it's best 1/4 mile pass ever on Sunday. And all three of these guys are just waiting for a chance to put rubber down at the new track.

I ran sunday , the car laid down the best 60 it has ever had, ,thus breaking out, 2 round , I had a blast! As for the crew, I think they was given a scrip and they did pretty good. there was some issues , but they can be handled!

Last night was the best so far. They were in the finals around 11 when it rained.

Open time runs 12-1. When they made the call that lanes were closed, I saw them turning away racers in staging trying to sneak in the end.
