The public hearing for the Mid America Raceway Park L.L.C. will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011, in the Commissioners Room of the Montgomery County Courthouse. The hearing starts at 7:00 p.m. SHARP. The area is very limited so be prepared for standing room only.

I am unable to attend the P&Z meeting. I sent an email supporting the MARP. We have 3 cars and the purposed track at MO. CO would only make it a 30 to 45 min tow....Lots better than what we are towing now.....we can race twice as much now with the gas at almost $4 a gallon....glad to see it coming.....Thanks Ronnie and crew for your continued efforts and devotion.....

We went to Benton raced for the 1st time this year ..
$35 test tune includes 2 crew members .
$125. + diesel fuel
$20 .burgers fries etc
$30 soda water beer

1 pass trans 2nd pass trans leaking PRICELESS.

The property in question is NOT the old Montgomery County
Speedway, or the property across Hwy. 19 from it.

The property is located at 620 Tree Farm Rd. (the Outer Road, I
believe), between Danville exit and New Florence exit.

For approval, they need the P&Z Commission to approve it with 65%
of 9 members. (They will probably vote on it on May 17th, but not
guaranteed)

IF P&Z approves it, it then goes to the County Commission (no
earlier than May 19th). The County will then have up to 10 days to
post their findings/decisions.

The meeting on May 17th is an open hearing, with anyone allowed to
support/oppose, and the P&Z members will ask questions based upon
whatever has been proposed by that date.
