They withdrew the motion for a new trial, but left the door open for another if they choose. Cant comment on why they dropped it, dont know.

I dont get this at all. This Weiss guy has spent more money on this whole process that what his little piece of heaven out there is worth. If he is that pissed off about the whole issue then sell the property and go buy that parcel of land up in Eolia that they were originally going to try to put the track on.
Or just maybe his attorney told him that since Montgomery Motorsports Park is up and running that he didn't stand a snow balls chance in hell of winning this case, but I seriously doubt that since attornies are the lowest form of life and will take anyones money whether they think the person has a case or not.

attornies are the lowest form of life and will take anyones money whether they think the person has a case or not. That may be true for some lawyers, but it is definitely not true of ALL. I am a paralegal who has been working with lawyers since 1995 and there are very definitely some out there with integrity and decency, and some who will even do discounts etc. in cases where the person very much needs help! |
