Do you have a certain price range in mind, portable or mounted?? I've looked at several generators recently for one of my trailers I pull with my truck and the best ones portable are Yamaha followed by Honda and Onan. I honestly wouldn't buy anything else if your wanting the quietest and best performance/lifespan possible.

For a mounted unit, keep in mind these are pricey, I would look at an Onan quiet diesel unit like we have in the motorhome/toterhomes...

I can tell you pros/cons on almost any unit so if you have any questions just let me know!
