just wanting some opinions what im working with is sbc 360,flat tops forged bottom end decent heads and a hydrolic 300/312 512/533 lift with 112 lobe seperation any estimates on hp

The hyd lifters don't require the additional zinc as does their counterpart, the solid lifter, but do make sure that the lifer rotated before start of the engine as well as 'prime' the motor of oil before start up is highly recommended . After start up, check timing (this needs to be hooked up before start up!) , oil pressure, ,then put the throttle at @ 2 grand for @ 1-15 run ,let idle, you can shut down at this point, if desired, re check for leaks and such, re start, set again for @ 10-15 min changing throttle speeds occaisional , There are some who do not do exactly as stated, but it is the way I do it, and never a failed cam, so works for me! HP?? lobe seperation tells me nitrious?? 400-425??

Dennis, I think you meant roller. Any flat tappet cam, hydraulic or solid, need the protection during break in. Roller lifters dont, because they dont rotate on the cam like flat tappet. Sorry to pop your bubble but all flat tappit lifters need zink ( anti scuff agent ) rollers do not - has nothing to do with being solid or hydrolic. Most oils today have little to no zink so be careful.
