I am looking for advice on tires. Running a C3 Corvette with a BBC with 3.70 rear. Car came with MT Drag Radials, 275-50-15. Car just spins at launch through 60 ft. with a 111 trap speed. My thought is that the tires should be 60 series or 28 in. instead of the current 50 series (26 in.) tires.

Does this sound reasonable?

Also, given a choice, what is preferred for this setup: MT Drag Radials or Hoosier QTP's ?

Those IRS rear ends can be hard to deal with, drag racing, .. . . sometimes.
