Well sure looks great, except, there is 1 guy that will throw a wrench in the deal!! And he all ready has a lawyer so , looks like it will be up in the air too! The P & Z is great at getting things passed , but very hard time making it stick, Maybe they need to have a vote on the developments, if it passed the majority of voters , then present to the P & Z , maybe that's the answer!! I totally understand landowners rights, but, when you really don't live there, basically a retreat area? It gets really bad, A friend of mine has been having 4 wheelers /motorcycles at his place for years, they come over race around for fun , no money , no trophies , just good after noon play,, well,, new neighbor moves in from the city, files an injunction , and no more!! he cant even run his bikes around on the trails he set up on his own property,!!!! so this only gets worse! Just funny how city guys come out of the city then force their way of the city, if they wanted city life , why don't they stay in the city?

Funny you should say that here in Boonville when wal-mart wanted to build a new super wal-mart here the stores got a lawyer to fight it so they filed a law suit and the city said at next election it would be put up to the voters, Guess what the voted 1800 + FOR and 600 against so now we have a new super Wal-mart, so I think it should be up the the majority of those that live there not live some place Else.

Dennis, It's always that way. I live outside Troy. There were 5 houses on my gravel road until the 80's the wham 50+ then they didn't like the gravel road so they forced thru a TTD based on acerage not frontage and forced the paving of the road. That cost was paid for by the land owners and if you didn't have the money you got to take out a 10yr. loan. If you want paved roads stay in the city. The only plus side to the depression is a developer bought out a farmers 80ac and was going to put in 200+ lots. He went belly up before he could and the land is now in forclosure
