OK, forgive me, it's been a while, the old track in Wentzville was a 1/4 mile track, correct? I posted about the new track on another forum and I got a response that the old Wentzville track was a 1/8 mile. I went to ( www.na-motorsports.com/Tracks/MO/MidAmerica.html ) to show it was indeed a 1/4 mile track and the first line says it was a 1200' drag strip. Now I'm confused. Arrgggg... to get old. It was always billed as a 1/4 track although Super Pro ran 1/8. Lots of people claimed it wasn't a true 1320 but my car ran within a few hundreds at Gateway & MAR. Side note: I rode my bike up to the old track & it looks like they are moving dirt on the old track site. Last time I was up there nothing was going on there, just on the spectator side where the subdivision is being built. Looks like the hill along "celebrity row" has been leveled. Sad  |
