I hate to do it but it's time to sell it. Going to cut down to 1 race car. Work isn't looking real great for the immediate future and I need to cut back on a few extras until work gets better.
1999 Pontiac T/A
MOTOR:
142,000 miles on short block. I replaced cam, heads, valve springs, timing chain, injectors, fuel pump, lifters, and hardened pushrods last winter. (Less than 1000 miles since then)
Cam: Futral Motorsports FM14 cam with matching Valve Springs and hardened pushrods and timing chain all from Futral (PVC system has been removed.)
FMS-F14-112 FMS Custom Grind Camshaft - 232"/234" .598"/.598" 112LSA - aggressive profile with a 2600-7000 RPM range, rough idle
Rockers: Stock rockers with Comp Cams trunion rebuild.
Heads: Used STOCK takeoff 241 heads with approx 30,000 miles. (I only replaced the heads because with the new valvetrain I wanted a fresher set of heads and I got a good deal on them.)
Headers: Hooker coated 1 3/4" Long tubes with Hooker ORY.
Fuel Pump: Racetronix 255 with upgraded wiring kit.
Injectors: #37 injectors (Racetronix)
Intake: LS-6 with ported TB (TB ported by Road Pirate #3)
SUBFRAME connectors : By Road Pirate #1
Tune: JUSTUNE
A/C works great. Fresh charge and check over on 12/02/2011 (I had it evacuated so I could unhook it when I was changing the cam, heads, oil pan gasket, etc...
Trans: PERFORMABUILT 4L60 with 3500 stall (It was in car when I bought it. He installed it shortly before I bought it. I believe it has less than 7000 miles on trans. I have only put about 2500miles on car in the 2 1/4 years I have had it.)
Rearend: STRANGE 60 with 4.11 gears. Has 35 Spline axles, and spool and 5/8 wheel studs with STRANGE disc brakes on rear. Rear has been narrowed 4" from stock. Wheel offset was custom built for this rear. New adjustable Panhard rod (BMR I think. I will double check.)
Brakes: Burkhart Chassis ABS delete with Aerospace front DRAG BRAKE kit from Burkhart Chassis. Strange manual master Cyl. and line-loc from Burkhart Chassis. Drilled and slotted rotors front and back.
Wheels/Tires: Billet Specalties Street Lites. 15X10 rears and 15x3.5 fronts in GREAT shape. NEW Mickey Thompson 275-65-15 Drag Radials on back with only 2 races on them and 100 miles. Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R Radials on front (26x6) with approx 1500 miles on them.
Misc: Passenger side window re-wire kit. (Anyone familiar with these cars knows that the pass side window NEVER worked well on these cars and usually burned up the window motors due to improperly sized wiring from the factory. I upgraded the wiring with a kit designed for these cars. I will have to look up the company I used if interested.)
Malinda (My wife) won the 2010 KWIK STREET class Championship in the VAMP series with this car. When the class was eliminated last winter is when I did most of the upgrades. Car has been 11.802 @ 116mph with 3/4 tank of fuel @2600' DA on 11/19/2011
MSD 2 step VERY SLICK SET-UP. I have it incorporated into the brake pedal. pix in the photobucket link
Here is a link to all the photos I have of it and I will post a few from there just for the ad.

This car is still FULLY streetable. It is licensed and insured and always has been. We always drive it to and from KCIR from Bates City. (approx 25 miles each way). This car is still very reliable and I would trust it for daily use. I believe that a better use for this car is as a toy; as a street/strip car. If someone was planning on using this car as a daily driver, the one thing I would do is change out the spool in the rear for a posi type unit instead. The spool just makes turning sharply feel a bit clunky and the turning radius suffers a bit with the spool. I did just drive the car approx. 100 miles on Friday (12/2/2011) doing some errands and getting A/C recharged with no issues. This is a great street/strip car.
Car is located in Bates City, MO. I am asking $8200 . I have over $8500 just in parts on this car.
