This is very sad news for KCIR and its racers, I always had a lot of fun at KCIR , So every one , me and my family is going for the last time and taking the comet going to have a blast and I might turn her up to run in the 8's . The weather looks to be nice she should fly. hope to see some of you all this sat. Ronnie and gang

the last time i was at kcir i raced megamerc in my red and white 1971 chevell running 13.5s had a blast that track allways made me think of mar

If we can get conditions that are safe for racing, racers and spectators will be free this Saturday.

KCIRs last race has been postponed till tomorrow because of rain, high winds and cold temps. Come out Sunday for the last race, racers and spectators are free!

Great time today, lots of memories. Kepner was here running his ole trusty Crown Vic! Talked to Paul Hagen said he and Bret made the last pass down the track . Seems to be a theme with them closing tracks . MAR GIR KCIR Just seems when I think of the Final I think of something a little faster and louder and looks like a hypo car .JIMO Heard Ronnie was up scoping out the equipment , :obleachersLOL  etc. good luck with that stuff to get started .
