I think with this good weather we are having right now you should start moving dirt. Start building. Aquilla got away with it a few years ago and they didn't even have the proper permits and permission. I mean what could these city folk, weekend hobby farmers do about it once it's built? I mean look what Aquilla did. They built the whole power plant without the proper procedures followed. What could the county do then? They couldn't tear down a multi million dollar plant ready to run. The plant is running today. They got away with it! Now look at our situation. We have the proper permits. We've followed the proper procedures. The town wants it. It will bring needed income and jobs. The site is surveyed. I say go for it! A person could go ahead, but the landowners would go to the judge get an injunction and stop it fast!

I would like to know how George Ray did it , He built it for his own use and charged 10 bucks at the gate to come watch and if you wanted to run your car it was free. hummm !!! RIP George. ( Were there is a will there is a way )

This is designed to keep you in the court system, keep you tied down long enough for someone to get tired or run out of money. and depends on lawyers , how fast they file for date to get started,, time they file will be 30 days, then ? jury trial could be another 30 ? we will just have to sit back and watch the proceedings see how it comes out! like I said if he started anything they would get it stopped, so just have to wait!

Court is a Chess game, and the ONLY ones that really win are the Slimey Lawyers!

X2 I can't say I'm surprised with the delay, but I would think the better good of the majority would come into play here. In other words, there are many more benefits to the track as a whole, then a few out of town land owners.

I own property near the old MAR track yes I could hear the cars occasionally but I urge these people to drive bye now and see the hundreds of homes that fill the feilds we use to park in. Nothing about a race track depreciates the value of property. I also challenge them to call cities and counties of other race facilities. the will find out that a race track gives them the best of both worlds. meaning a festival like atmosphere every weekend through out the the summer with a lot of tourist revenue and nice and quiet throughout the week. People are inherently afraid of change. I miss the old MAR and the people in the community there are really getting tied of my burn outs LOL.(kidding) don't be afraid of change.
