Just found out about this website and possible track. I'm just a S/Pro guy who is looking for more place to race at, instead more places to watch close. This economy has really hammered this environment. Guys don't have money to race, and more guys don't money to go watch. The fact somebody is trying to open a new track is very encouraging. My local track is Ozark Raceway Park in Rogersville, Mo. Our program has suffered quite a bit, but is hanging on. We actually have several local businesses that want to help sponsor the program for next year. I'm hoping we can all get back to having fun and racing like we used to. This track looks like it could be close enough to make the long haul for a weekend. I'm going to watch this closely.

Welcome. I was down Ozark Raceway Firday, had a decent turnout. The 2.5hr drive was a long one though.

It's a Brogie 4-link, with a 400 block and a 426 max wedge crank. Comes out to about 451cid. M&M glide with a 9 inch. It will run 5.50's or 8.50's all day depending on what is needed. I might put new plugs in it this year.  |
