@ RLS, to my knowledge it didn't, was built by Claude Sherrell of Concord Village, MO, a suburb of St. Louis County. I do not know everything about the car and its history, just what I have learned working on it with Claude's son, and working for his other son. I have never even met the man personally, may he r.i.p., but his death is what brought the car out of the dust and cobwebs again.
Can anyone recommend a HIGH heat clear coat that will stick to polished brass that won't tarnish or turn colours, as the radiator is polished and want to preserve it that way, so it won't need to be done everytime the car comes out???

been looking at the pics, trying to see if i had seen this car at i55 speedway , i been looking at my old pis i have a pic of a car of that color , but pics is very blurred and hard to make out.. Also been looking at the old Motion raceway pics, so many of those type cars used to run in the 'circle' (White hall, Motion, Alton, I-55, GIR, ) being someone hasn't chimmed in I would say this car hasn't been ''racing' much of it's life.
