here ya go,, We have been working all week with IHRA concerning track safety and well being of the tracks in southern states. We are concentrating on doing a few up grades to SDS and becoming a IHRA track. We will be holding classes here for SFI certifications.I will also will be chassis cert. tech for IHRA.This will open doors up for IHRA races and help control safety issues.
Safety Issues 1.maintenance of race cars 2.track conditions 3.running race cars back to back not keeping up with track conditions 4.never fire up a race car in a trailer 5.this is just a few
My personal concern people enjoy drag racing, and my customers going home with there families.I hope this helps. SDS

Sikeston is almost 150 miles south from I-55 and I-70 intersection but I imagine and overland route from Boonville to Sikeston would shave a ton of miles off of that.

Being sanctioned and up to snuff makes the insurance cheaper, and also increases a tracks visibility. It also allows events from that sanctioning body to be run at that facility.

well i could see it helping, but the talk is that he has really turned racer the other direction , if he is having issues with saftey , it wont matter what sanction he goes with, and there will be some (racers) who believe that no matter what, wont conform to saftey, i understand some complaints, but there are reasons for it, someone usually got killed , so we could be safer,,
