Up at Cordova for the Nitro Fest and Jet Warz, on my second qualifying run for the 7.50 class on Saturday, the altered lost #4 cylinder. Upon taking the right head off last night, I found a 2.5" x 1.25" piece of the head missing (that would explain no compression). Now, it's a cast iron head, I wonder if it's fixable. It broke in the quench area (the flat section), water jacket is on the other side, so the head was about .25" thick in that area.

There is a shop in Mount Vernon, IL that welds up cast iron heads. I dropped a valve and it tore things up real bad and when he got done you couldn't tell which one it was..
