Can you blame him. Its high time to get crops in the ground. Out of all the times, dates etc that Ronnie has said this will happen that will happen BlaBLABLA. Is there really any more progress then there was at this time last year? Things like this dont happen over night. WE all know that. YEs he is working a full time job we get that. NO I do not have a lot of money invested in this project. Besides a couple of shirts, which are almost embarrassing to wear. People always asking oh how is the track coming. Well there still in a lawsuit, but I got this nice shirt. Im not worried about the money I have in it. But what aggravates me more than anything is how much time I spent driving to Montgomery every P&Z meeting to help support this cause. TIme is more valuable to us then anything. We can all agree on that. Here is some examples of events over the last year. Lawsuit? Still a lawsuit, not the original but now MAR them self are being sued by there own Lawyers. How does that work out> Somebody didnt get paid. Dirt was supposed to be moved a year ago? But hey we got a silt fence!!!! We had a grand opening last year. I understand excitement but a few trees and silt fence after a year. We had a schedule before there was dirt moved. Doesnt make any sense. They have been saying since day one things take time I.E mother nature. LAWSUITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! etc etc. SO why did we have a schedule when there was not a built date in site? IT just really sucks that the big majority of the county really wanted to see this thing go. Its not looking really good. How many times have people asked for weekly updates? LOTS. Ronnie will reply once. Say all of the above statements are not true. And poof he gone. Wont here from him again. IN general you can tell the loss of hope for this project. Just look at how much the chatter has dropped on this site alone. It used to change everyday. Now it goes weeks. The racers have all but lost hope. I truethfally hope one day I can look back on this and say I was totally wrong. Only time will tell. But at this present moment times look grim.

lol. this whole thing is a joke. ground breaking in, was it 2011. cant remember. never seen it take so long to get started after a ground breaking ceromony. has to be embrarressing. why would you even have a ceromony if everythings not in place ready to go. putting the cart in front of the horse so to speak. this has to just be a pipe dream and its time to wake up. this thing is so unorginized and out there i dont see this ever happening. time to face the truth. see yas at crappy gateway. my heart weighs heavy from hoping so long. but i cant do it anymore !!!!!

Gateway has made some good improvements over the winter. They had a 3 day training with the staff to learn how to properly prep a track from one of the top NHRA track prepers. They have new managment. It was a totally different track when I was there the weekend before last. sucky weather but a great track

GMP was and probably still is offering VIP/ETI tech. Once you get that, you don't have to sit in line. Then again, Midnight Madness is a whole different crowd.

Ronnie I was at Gateway this weekend and had heard some comments about the track status. One was that there had already been some planting started on the property. I said they could be possible but it may not be on the track area. Other were saying that it is to late this year to get the track ready to run this season. This might be a good time to clear some smoke an instill positive thought back into the minds of the people that have been following and hoping this project will go through.

I talked to Ronnie twice Saturday. He gave me some info that he isn't ready to quite go public with yet but said he should know something by the middle of this week as to some type of time frame. He and Steve are spending countless hours trying to put this deal together (they're dealing with government folks, do I need to say anymore) but if all goes according to plan I should be sending out an email by the end of the week.
