Talked to Ronnie last night for a few minutes. He and Steve were in a meeting and he really didn't have time to go into much detail. They are still trying to get all their ducks in a row and get something going soon so that when the weather finally drys up and the ground starts to look like dirt again instead of brown soup they should have everything set up and be ready to fly. Evidently trying to deal with the Small Business Administration is enough to give a woodpecker a headache. One thing is for sure, when they finally get it all lined up and ready to go both Ronnie and Steve will very well versed in jumping through hoops!!

Just spoke to Ronnie again. Progress is moving forward, slow but still moving forward. He said things are close to being where they need to be to start going and he should hopefully have some long awaited news in the near future. He isn't wanting to put a date out there because of how things happened last time and I agreed with him. He just said to be patient and he will call me with updates to post as they become available. If you signed up for the email list as soon as I hear something as when the dirt will fly I will send out a blast email to everyone that signed up.

Well it is like Ronnie can't tell GOD to make it 75 degrees outside and sunshine. We just have to live with the weather and they will hit it you can bet just as soon as the weather allows. Don't get down on that 30 day thing, he cant control nature. IT WILL HAPPEN, It is just a waiting game now.

I believe the original statement was that AS SOON AS they start moving dirt it will be 30 days for the escavators and then 30 days for the concrete, all depending on getting all the i's dotted and the t's crossed and of course Mother Nature.

first things first i would think. the suit brought by the lawyers that represented mid america raceway park llc in the rezoning proceedings for non-payment was to have been closed out yesterday. now according to the mo case net site the suit was not dismissed and the date has been posponed because talks are still ongoing for a settlement between the lawfirm and mid america raceway park llc.

Any updates? Drove past last Sunday all I saw was a blizzard!! Any update would be nice, even if it's to say the ground is a mud pit right now. lol As far as last Sunday, I think that all anyone around here saw was snow. It wasn't even done snowing when I took these pics on Sunday.

Same ol same story its been for the last year and a half. Want a million dollar track but cant afford the lawyers. Right now Gateway really has there stuff together. ITs turning out to be a great place. New management makes all the difference in the world. Hopefully Ronnie can get a good manager?
