car counts? ? Tracks all over the country are hurting. I would not do anything to push away customers.

The amount of planning that goes into drag strip is huge. All we have to do is sit back and wait. I do know that things are rapidly moving along. That's all I can say about that. When the time is right Ronnie will fill you guys in. Shawn glad to see you post even if its been 3 months Dec 23 2010. Willy mo Now if your going to ban people that are negative ,you might ban positive people that have posted rumors of this or that happening with no fact . As long as its not personal attacks opinions are like A--h----. I guess keeping quiet should go for both sides . I'm ready to hear the news soon. I have zero intentions of banning anyone honestly. Its the people that constantly spred negetive comments, not just about the track/progress, but on this forum in general. Its quite obvious who these people are when you see a large amount of negetive karma.

Let's REMEMBER the negative people, and when the time comes Turn them away at the gate! MARP WILL HAPPEN! I have told Ronnie this as well, lets tell them since they were so negative, charge them double to race! and...the postitive moderators get a free entry opening day!

Heard a rumor about it going in around New Florance, MO. Is there any truth to this? I hope so.

no negativity here but i hope that it is ran like a business and not a give away or it will not last long. I am just curious what you mean by this. It will be a business, as the ultimate goal for it will be to make money, but those involved feel that the racers should have a say in the way that things are done. Because the partners are racers, they have seen the way different tracks are ran and organized and we all want the racers to have a good time, tell there friends and families and bring them all along with them. Treating the customer with RESPECT and having the goal of making sure they are happy with the facility and the way that it is ran, from the time you enter the gates till you leave at the end of the day. That is the reason why there are posts on here ASKING the racers what they want. Many of these qualities are things that were first experienced at the original MAR, and other top notch tracks around the country. So speak up and let us know any ideas that you have to make this the best track around!

If you build it they will come. It is interesting that you use that exact quote. It is from my favorite movie "Field of Dreams". Two weeks ago, Ronnie and I went up to Tri-State Raceway in Eddyville Iowa, to check out a track that we were told about that had several neat ideas. On our way up there, we realized that is is only 10 miles away from Dyersville, where they shot the scenes for that movie, so we stopped by for a quick visit after our visit to the track and we both joked about that phrase as a slogan. The owner of the track was very helpful and open about things that he has learned running the track and may even come down and give us a hand setting some things up. If you are ever up that way stop by and see his facility and tell him we sent you.
