I finally got to bring the Hemi home last Sunday! ;D The next step is to get it painted and work out all the brackets and pulleys, etc. After that it's be time to pull the 273 and install it!

Bragging right are good too, as far as the bench racing drink I prefer Wild Turkey American Honey over beer.

Looks good Rich! Putting it in will be fun! With that oil line, you are probably going to have to modify the k frame a little. I think on Bob's R/T we had to cut a piece off to get it to fit. Let us know when you are installing and we will come help, well I will, Bobby will supervise! He is allergic to oil! Lol! ;D

Lol! ;D Hopefully the oil line will clear, but if it doesn't I'll start cutting the K-frame. lol Dan Smith looked at Dan Yorks Superbee with a line run the same way and said it cleared. We shall see. I figured on calling people for help when the time comes to drop it in. I don't want to try and man handle it in on my own.

I hope to have it ready to start swapping into the Satellite next week. I painted the Hemi and started getting all the bolt on accessories figured out. (Carb linkage, pulleys, etc). I sandblasted all the pulleys and brackets then panted them. Next step is bending fuel lines. After that I'll take it off the engine stand and bolt the trans to it so it's ready to install.
