The same company that insures your car, truck, or motorcycle should also have trailer insurance, also for motorhomes, and toters.

You would think so... I have Progressive on my cars and motorhome. They will only insure it for $500, and only if I am pulling it with my motorhome. Hagerty will cover the trailer for a guaranteed value.

Flo is a tricky girl Most trailers are not covered with damage to itself but will cover damage it might incurre to other property from the liability coverage of the vehicle pulling it . Items contents on or in the trailer are not covered but only by a policy to cover those items . been there done that . DR

Mine won't cover the car's while they are inside the trailer but it covers everything else in the trailer including tools and equipment.

Look in the National Dragster for insurance on cars and car haulers. AAA of southern Calif is the one I have had for years plus towing for my motorhome cause regular towing won't cover motorhomes unless you have the extra coverage.
and you might check Hemming Catlog they have special interest coverage auto.

Friend of mine has Grundy car insurance and he told me to check with them. No go, I don't want on track coverage I just want them covered against theft. Keep seeing these stories on DRO about complete rigs being taken and never found or if they are then the cars are gone or stripped. A local TAD racer by me had his rig stolen while down in Houston at a National event there. Won the race and was heading home, stopped in a truck stop to shower and came out and all that was left was a pile of glass where his rig was parked. They found the truck and trailer and all his spare motors and tools and equipment were gone. They couldn't figure out the combination to open the rear door or the car would have been gone too. I can't afford to lose all my stuff and try to start all over.
