Went to the dirt track race Sat night, they had a great turn out. I was wearing my MAR PARK tee shirt and several people was asking me when are they going to see some work started. I told them should see some action starting very soon, They all seemed very excited.

did they move the track from the first ground breaking Yes, the location has been shifted about a half mile to the west from where it was going to be at the ground breaking. It was determined that the layout would work a little better at this new position. The track will be running basically due south and that is where the sign has now been moved as well.

Good to hear that there will be another great drag strip. Gateway is still the same old place takes for ever to get a event done. 3 or 4 in the morning is crazy. From what i have read on the blogs that u will have things together and it will be a great place. Thank you and good luck cant wait to see the new place.

Kayse and I were on the way back home from Columbia yesterday so we went by the the track location to see what's new. She started tuning in where the ground breaking was and I told her that they moved the location. Of course she had to argue that this is where the ground breaking was. After convincing her we needed to drive farther down the outer road we drove by the new location for the track placement. lol
