just for grins and something to do,lets take a poll on how many on here have drag cars or do race or building a car for 2012

We have the altered, Monza, dragster and a 'busa.
I was the '96 Street Et Champ at GIR. I had a few runner-ups.
My brother was the '97 and '08 S/P Champ at GIR.
My dad finished 2nd in the points at the OAS 11.00 class.

I have a 93 mustang coupe, 351 single turbo that I occasionaly take to the track. Building another coupe with a bigblock. Narrowed, cage, Possibly twin turbo, havent decided yet. If I had a track closer, it sure would light a fire under me to finish it.

I started Racing in Sept 1959 at lions Dragstrip I have 52 years of drag racing and no I dont remember where all I have race at, like Pomona Winter Nationals an Finals ,Bakerfield,Sonoma,Sacto,lions,orange county, carls bad,Phoneix firebird,Vegas, portland organ, St louis,Kcir, palm Dale ca, just to name a few, I do Have some pics on my web page if you would like to take a look. and yes my hair is white and I still have some of my teeth but hair not so much. lol www.buds-motorsports.webs.com

I'm more of a street guy that like to go to the track and race when possible and have some fun.

It's not even remotely fast (at least for now).
My last car before that was a 97 Viper that ran 10.70's on the bottle.
Th car before that was a 94 Viper that ran an 11.30 best time when I ran it at the old MAR.

OK I'll play. 85 Z28 S/P S/G 8.97,152mph. Raced every week at mar, gateway, Pevely, Slir. Former AHRA record holder. (71 Duster HPA).

I think you have a great looking car, I have a old ford P/U I want to get around to someday, mabe drive on the street. I gave my last car I built to my son out in calif a few years back here is a picture of it.

The car is an original unrestored 17k mile survivor.
The only real mods for now are dual exhaust and the wheels and tires.

I'm getting ready to call Dan Smith and see about dropping off the Hemi for him to start building it.
Maybe I can cure the car being slow with that. lol
The 273 doesn't cut it for power.
