We're bulding a new motor for the Demon - new Mopar race block, Brodix heads, roller cam - a dream motor. We bought a 2010 Racecraft 243 in. wheel base to run in Top Dragster. We still have the two hardtail dragsters we've been running. One is for sale, a '99 Gebhardt with SBC. It ran 5.50s at KCIR.

We ran at M.A.R. from '98 to '04, and have been running at KCIR since. Guess we'll start next year at Eddyville. Looking forward to running at MARP.

I recognize some of you by your posts. Looking forward to seeing you again. Some of you sound like you're full of it. Can't wait to meet you anyway.

P.S. Installing a Bobs front suspension on the Demon. Anybody running one, or know anyone who is? Good - bad - let me know.

OK. . . then a 434, changes the whole picture. . .. . . Then 10.0 in Vamp and Gateway . . . and maybe S/G at Heartland. .

sg3526, yes Al the VW Guru, Ive known him since '83. He's still buildin badass VW's. Its amazing how much he can do with those little engines and still be very streetable too. He's still doing great, in New Melle in Hywy Z.

this has been our winter,spring,summer,fall project for going on 3 years now. hoping we get to make our first passes in it this year at MARp.

If this track gets built, you are going to see all of these little VW's get a whole lot faster. But Al is the one to keep your eyes on. He sure isn't going to let any of us be faster than him. LOL!
