For those that km69stang has confused! LOL! The swap meet that is this weekend, Feb 3rd and 4th is for the Mopar crowd. The regular swap meet is February 17th and 18th. And both swap meets are at the Boone County fairgrounds. Sorry for the confusion but yes it is a mopar swap meet this weekend. I knew that, but others thought it was the regular swap meet. And yes the petition will be there and available for signing. Thanks

I wish you guys all the luck in the world and hope something positive comes out of tomorrows hearing. But the realist in me says that this is now more of a political move by the Judge so this doesn't have a negative bearing on him. My thoughts are that he will again side step this matter and possibly make a recommendation to take it to a jury trial so it takes the weight off his shoulders and moves the responsibility onto a jury instead.
I hope I'm wrong but with this being an election year and politicians being what they are, this is the way I see it. He may also be hoping that one party or the other decides to drop the issue and not pursue it any further because of the expense that's involved. I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see what comes tomorrow..

Retiring completely or just from his current office. Most of these guys have an agenda that they go by and this may be on his. If he is retiring from his bench position he may have another political position in sight.

The last I heard the judge is retiring completely, He old like me and I'm 71, lol But there is so many ways to get around the ruling of the courts it not funny , Just look at the George Ray track he didn't like any of the rules so he built his own PRIVET Drag Strip and if you wanted to come watch him Run his car it was 10 bucks and if you wanted to run your car it was free for friends only (contribution excepted)and George had lots of friends. So keep it in mind. The state of California is the only state I know of you give up all rights to do with you Privet land and that includes oil right the reason I know this I lived out there and anyone owning property signs away there oil right when they buy out there. lol so I have the up most confidence in Ronnie, steve, mike persuit in building a track here in Missouri. You can do almost anything you want to on your Privet property You can Drill a well, put in a 3000 foot black top or concrete DRIVE WAY. Build a Trailor court and rent the spaces. Lost of good stuff. So good luck guy Im pulling for you...

Hopefully we will fill the courtroom with M.A.R.Park supporters! With the response we got with the petitions and local residents and business owners in the area, not to mention all the racers! It should fill the courtroom for sure!

Here's the fly in the ointment. If the judge rules in Ronnie's favor. The land owners can drive him nuts and cost money defending never ending nuisance law suits. And from what I understand they have already issued veiled threats to that end.
