We raced there when it was open back in the day. If AHRA joins in with the guy trying to reopen it, might be a real nice 1/8 mile track.

mo case net shows default hearing now set for 6-27. usually means defendant (mid amer raceway llc) either did not show or resond to yesterdays dismissal hearing. and so on 6-27 the attorneys who filed the suit present their evidence to the judge as to how much they should be awarded. the defendant cannot contest the suit or enter any evidence of their own to dispute the claims by the attorneys suing them or the amount they are asking for.

Gotta love the BLOOD SUCKING LAWYERS. They get to charge whatever they want. They are as bad as every Politician, Crooks. Maybe with this done we can move on. MAR can still be built. Keep the Faith Fellow Racers. It WILL HAPPEN.

although I don't have a lot of use for lawyers this is not the appropriate comparisons. there isnt anything blood sucking about it. Ronnie knew what they charged going into it. now he has not kept up with his end of the deal. it is a matter that they provided a service and MAR Park did not pay. no different if I did work on someone's car and they did not pay.
I guess we need to ask Ronnie how his t shirt sales are going?

Keep the Faith Fellow Racers. It WILL HAPPEN. From what I read, It's far from done. Mar LLC now owes $42,812.69 plus intrest to their own lawyers. That's a big chunk of change to pay before they can start to build.

Just my Two cents for what its worth.Whats does a business do when its faced with large legal bills before its even generating One Dime in profit?Set up a new LLC,with a new partnership agreement on the side, force the judges hand to a default judgement, thus ending litigation, declare bankruptcy on your old LLC and your back in business with zero debt on your new LLC.Shady for us normal working people? Yes| But for business dealing with lawyers and governments, just normal. I do not have any skin in the game, just hoping for safe place to race.

Not directed to you but this is a big part of the reason lawyers and Dr. and other things like that are so expensive. Because there is so many dead beats cheating the system. Ronnie Owes that money fair and square. The law firm provided a service of representing him in court. He did not pay. Fair and square. Along with any big project of this size you will need a lawyer and there will be litigation at some point. Sometimes earlier than later. If you cant afford the small fight how you gonna afford the big picture. Just my 2 cents.

Lawyers, politicians and lobbyists set up the system to give themselves an unfair advantage over the rest of us.I dont give One rats ass when they get tripped up in their own trap.LLC stands for Limited Liability Corporation.I dont think Ronnie was named in the suit hence the term limited liability.

What I have a hard time understanding is the fact that the suit was not brought against MARP at all, but instead was brought against the Montgomery County P&Z board. Why would you throw your hat into a fight that you weren't named in and have to pay lawyers with money that they obviously don't have? It really doesn't make much sense unless MARP was trying to show the Board that they were in this for the long haul. But the fact remains that they have a judgement against them and they need to pay it or do like what was posted above. Which in my opinion is a chicken s@#t thing to do.
