we all have to believe that it will come to pass
as it will benifit all of who enjoy racing close to
home,,
all the events that we like and go to ,,
monster mopar,, get the big ford show back, who knows what else
but if we dont at lease show the support here on this small forum
that we have then it will, be harder for the team trying to pull this together
to put forth thier efferts, to even try to do this for us ,,
why should they try, if all they see and hear is total defeat from
the very people they are trying to get something done for ,,
US!!
easy to believe in something that is already here,,

we are all in it together,
i know we can surley hope that this does come together,!
beacause there is a very big fan and drag racers
around the st louis area that deserve a great track to
run at !!
that being said,,
if the management putting this together does it right ,,
and doesnt distance them selfs from knowing that WE THE RACER
are here for them and let us racers and fans know that he
appreciates us and respects us as partners in any adventure
in building a new facility,,, or,,
resurecting an old place ,, then he'll earn respect
and the racers and fans alike will come out in support of
that venture

As of right now, probably not, that is due in part to the lawsuit that was filed and the PITA neighbor, as well as other properties that have and are being considered. There is a small possibility that it could still end up there if another more suitable location is not found. There is another piece of property that is being considered and discussed but as of this minute there is no contract on any ground. Hopefully that will change very soon, but the location will not be announced until the deal has been closed. |

Winter is harsh on some ,,
we will take good news just as that, 'good news'
the gateway racing comunity area is reeling ,,
We need that sense of security ,,we got complacent.!!
we can all get caught up with the 'NEED TO KNOW'.
same feeling when GIR was rebuilt,
some didnt like it , because it changed what they allways had,
others embraced it ,
as with adventure, it will be the same ,
i for one will embrace it to what ever end it comes too,
not because it is close , or i know any person building it
i dont !!
but because i realy believe the area deserves a top quality dragstrip,
where racers can come , know that they are appreciated, liked,
and respected for their acomplisments, and commitmet to the sport,
to keep it thriving for years to come ,
not to see it go away, by the way of 'youtube', and tell
my grandchildren , this is all we have now!
SO YES , IM HERE , IN FULL SUPPORT OF THIS NEW FACILITY!!
