Well ya'll another track has closed. Big River Sand drags. While its not pavement, its still something that has been taken away from us gearheads. I don't know exactly why but i will let you know

the economy, lack of racers, the economy, sand drags just not real popular , kinda like mud drags while it was new , everyone jumps on, but let it go for while , an its newness wears off.

I talked to a couple of guys that ran there. They said don't be so quick to put a nail in the coffin just yet, they have some things up their sleeves that they are gonna try to see what they can do. These guys are kind of like the SCCA guys that bought Gateway, they have very deep pockets and enjoy their pass time a lot.
