Guys ask/tell me all of the time whats happening to Gateway/MARP. I usually keep my mouth shut and listen to what new rumor or story im about to hear. I have heard some pretty good ones. If gateway opens back up, GREAT! There will be a closer place to race until MARP opens.

Everyone has a brothers cousins sisters dads uncle that think they know whats happening at Marp or Gateway the real truth is nobody knows a damn thing other than we don't have a place yet LET'S GET SOMETHING OPENED UP!!!!! We all don't need to buy any more fuel or gas to go play with our toy's just to get there. That money should be for improving our cars to go faster or more consistent and buy the latest and best new parts

Ok, as a kid who grew up at M.A.R. watching and sometimes riding in cars like Bogus's olds or Linus Kerstings Camaro, and even the occasional appearance by Bill Weckmans yellow vette that had the most intimidating lope i thought id ever heard lol, i really want this track to open whether in eolia or silex or where ever. I recently aquired my first hotrod project and it it slated to be ready by june for "nostalgia"...im sorry, the "Wentzville car cruise". I have heard sooooooooo many rumors and until i found this site i was under the impression that concrete had been poured and we would be enjoying MARP this year is there ANY solid info on any of this? I dont know you Ronnie but bro, it sounds like your workin hard, keep it up. I work at the inkspot in Trot, MO and you have several tattoo artists eagerly awaiting MARP!!!

IT WILL happen. But like stated many times before something like this takes time. And the "hype" got a little too large early on. This is why some folks are doubting now.
Continue to work on your cars to make them faster/more consistant. There are a lot of new guys around with some fast cars that I know will be ready to race. This season, whether its a short one or not should be none the less a good one.

We got ours out too. Washed all the crap off it and did a lap. Feels pretty good to actually leave the garage door open for a change.  |

Was going to fire mine up today! Put a new conv.in and had the cabs tweaked,not enough gas,Got to buy a drum this week.
